Here is some excellent new news that I have to share with you. The 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and the 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan have both been named “Top Safety Picks” by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. To earn the title of “Top Safety Pick”, a vehicle has to earn a rating of “good” in four crash tests: front, rear, side, and rollover. It must also have electronic stability control. So if you’re in the market for a new Van and you want a top safety pick, do yourself a favor and take a look at the Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country. Go ahead and check this safety article out.
The 2011 Charger has an all-new body, much improved; an all-new chassis and suspension, much improved; and all-new interior, much improved. The all-new V6 is the big news, a huge bonus to the car, as the 2011 Charger will carry history forward. Chrysler calls the Charger design a four-door fastback, but the new Charger could also be called a Coke-bottle coupe. Its roofline looks like a coupe and its hourglass Coke-bottle figure has been nicely accentuated in 2011, pinched by six inches, with scallops on the sides and wide front and rear fenders. The new crosshair grille is darker and squared more, upfront as the Charger has always been. The front overhang is radically truncated, making the car look in profile as if speed is all that matters. The aluminum hood bulges. Find the 2011 Dodge Charger inventory at your Utah Dodge Dealership!

For those owners of Chrysler and Dodge hybrid vehicles, and even for future owners, it is important to know what to do with your vehicle’s batteries once they are no longer being used. The Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango Hybrid vehicles contain a High Voltage 300 Volt NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) battery. Before recycling batteries, always refer to the owners manual and understand the applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations governing the recycling, handling, and shipping of such batteries and materials. This is important because under law such batteries can under certain circumstances be deemed waste or dangerous goods.
NiMH batteries contain several components, including nickel, copper and steel, each of which has value as recycled materials. The best option is likely to go to a certified dealership that is trained in the removal and recycling of these batteries. As the batteries weigh about 150 pounds, it is important that you have appropriate equipment and personnel available when removing the battery from the vehicle. Dealers should always follow the Service Information Procedures for proper disconnecting, removing, storing and handling, and, if necessary, disposal of the NiMH battery packs.
